Fouls in Hockey!

Stick Tackle:

You can’t hit or hook your opponent’s stick with your stick.

Raise Stick:

You are not permitted to raise your stick above your shoulder.

Back Stick:

You can not play the ball with your back stick.

Feet:

You may not use your feet or any other part of your body at any time to control the ball or gain advantage.

Obstruction:

Unlike in football, hockey players aren't allowed to shield the ball from the opposition.

You must make sure you don't put your stick or any part of your body between your opponent and the ball.

This is to make sure all players have an equal chance to gain control of the ball.

Remember you will also be penalised if you push or trip your opponent.
