Just a short note to fill you in on some upcoming events at the Club.
 
 
Ladies' Division 9/10 Cup Semi Final: THIS SUNDAY!!!
 
This Sunday our 3rd XI are playing Glenanne in the semi-final of the Division 9/10 Cup. A great achievement to get this far, so please help the girls book their place in the final by coming to support the game - K.O. at 2.00 pm in Glenanne.
 
 
Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament  (Saturday, 24 March @ 7.30 pm)
 
We are holding a Texas Hold'Em Poker Night in the  Club on Saturday, 24 March 2011, starting at 7.30 pm. Further details to follow shortly - keep your eye out for posters around the Clubhouse.
 
 
End of Season Festival (Saturday, 14 April - all day!)
 
With most teams having only 5 matches to go, the end of season is fast approaching. Similar to previous years, we will be having an all-day festival before we take a well-earned off season break.
 
The day will kick off with an event for Juniors in the morning, a Six-a-Side and Vets' match in the afternoon, following by our END OF SEASON AWARDS PARTY in the end of evening!  A jam packed day all round - we hope you can make it! 
 
 
5km Run (Saturday, 28 April)
 
We are hoping to organise a 5km fundraising run on Saturday, 28 April in the vicinity of the Clubhouse. Further details to follow, but at this stage we are looking for a few people to help out with the organisation of the day - if this is something you are interested in, please let the Club Captain, Catherine Turley, know.

14 Feb 2012 : Special General Meeting
Dear Club members

A Special General Meeting has been called, it will take place on Wednesday 22nd of February at 7.30pm in the Club.  The Club Executive require authority from the members for any additional borrowing over €5,000.  Please direct any queries towards Nick Moy, Secretary of the Main Club, at nickmoy@globalnet.co.uk.  All queries will be answered at the meeting.

14 Nov 2011 : Code of Ethics Course
The next code of ethics (Basic Awareness) course run by the Kildare Sports Partenership is on Monday the 21st of November. It is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in The Training Room, Level 0 , Aras Chill Dark, Devoy Park, Naas, and it is €25 per person.  Click for some info and a booking form.  Please note this is now a 3hr session, not a 2days x 2 hrs as in previous as stated in the info pack. Survey of Young People in Kilcock!

If you are aged between 12 and 18 years and living in Kilcock then we want to hear from you!

The survey is being carried out by Burtenshaw Kenny Associates who are working with Kildare County Development Board and the community of Kilcock to put together a development plan for Kilcock. 

It is really important that young people have their views heard so that they can be taken into account in this plan.

It just takes 5 minutes to do the survey.

Don’t delay, the survey closes on 4 November 2011!

Kilcock Community Consultation Process

Let your voice be heard in shaping the future of Kilcock

The second in a series of workshops to develop a community participation strategy and communication network for Kilcock will take place on Saturday 15th October 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm in St Joseph’s Hall, Kilcock.  EVERYBODY is welcome.

Individuals, residents associations, community groups,  schools’ parents associations, youth groups,  sports groups, business community of Kilcock are all encouraged to take part and help shape a new community structure that will represent Kilcock in the Integrated Services Programme (2011 – 2013) and beyond.

This is your opportunity to get involved in your community. New faces are particularly welcome.

**The Integrated Services Programme (ISP) is a programme involving inter agency partnership with the community of Kilcock to improve the quality of life in the town in terms of social, economic, cultural and recreational infrastructure and services.  It will run from 2011 – 2013.  The Community Consultation Process is being carried out prior to the delivery of the ISP in Kilcock. **
